Generations Bank, in Van Buren, Sponsored 'Taste of Crawford County: A Culinary Delight from Around the World'
Van Buren, Arkansas, August 21, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Generations Bank, with locations throughout the state, recently sponsored “Taste of Crawford County: A Culinary Delight from Around the World,” a culinary event benefiting the Court Appointed Special Advocates For Children (CASA) of Crawford County. The event was hosted on August 8 at Van Buren High School from both 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tickets to the event were pre-sold for 10 dollars apiece and sold at the door for 15 dollars apiece. Food was provided by dozens of area restaurants and food production companies including: Pizza Parlour, Tyson Foods, Inc., Sweet Bay, Oliver’s Southern Cuisine, Stirred Catering & Coffee, Crabtree Farms and many more.
CASA of Crawford County is an advocacy group supporting 62 children, as of April 18, 2016, by promoting the best interests of children and working to ensure they have safe, loving and permanent placements, according to their website. The goal of CASA of Crawford County is to have a volunteer advocate available to serve every abused and neglected child that enters into foster care in Crawford County.
This event was the third consecutive year Generations Bank has worked with Pizza Parlour and sponsored the annual event.
