The event was from August 1 to August 2 and included the Poultry Science Scholarship Golf Tournament and the symposium, which was hosted at the John Q. Hammons Center.
The symposium was created for live production personnel and suppliers who support live production of turkeys, breeders and broilers, according to The Poultry Federation.
The Live Production Symposium is the largest local conference and vendor trade show for live production personnel, according to The Poultry Federation’s website. In 2016, more than 70 vendor companies exhibited in the tabletop trade show, and more than 500 people attended the event.
