Mount Sequoyah Retreat and Conference Center Hires Christina Karnatz As New Director of Development
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., December 5, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Mount Sequoyah Retreat and Conference Center, a nonprofit community center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, has hired Christina Karnatz as their new director of development. Karnatz offers a diverse background and valuable experience and will lead the Mount Sequoyah team in fundraising and development efforts.
Karnatz has a deep understanding of communication and development strategies, recently working as the associate director of development at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Previously she worked extensively in the communication field as a reporter, news producer and co-host at KUAF Public Radio at the University of Arkansas. She has a Bachelor of Science in International Business degree from the University of Arkansas and is expected to attain a Master of Science in Communication degree from Purdue University in 2018.
Mount Sequoyah hosts events, summer camps, weddings, retreats and more on beautiful grounds featuring more than 40 structures. The center offers an alternative to the typical hotel, convention center or event venue.
