Cooper Family Dentistry is Celebrating the Retirement of Carolyn Porter, Longtime Dental Assistant and Team Member
JACKSONVILLE, Ark., August 6, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Cooper Family Dentistry, a leading dental practice in Jacksonville, Ark., is celebrating the career and retirement of longtime team member, Carolyn Porter. Porter onboarded with Cooper Family Dentistry in 1989, and the team will celebrate her years of dedicated professionalism with cake and ice cream from Loblolly. The celebration is scheduled to occur from 12 to 2 p.m. on Aug. 24.
Carolyn has worked as Dr. James Cooper’s dental assistant, with consistency and commitment, for more than 29 years. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys spending time at home and with her family, cruises, reading, working in her yard, Starbucks and running.
Marilyn Vann, Carolyn’s sister, works at the dentistry as an insurance coordinator. When asked how she feels about working with her sister she shared that she loves it.
“She loves people and is such an encouragement to me,” Marilyn said.
Throughout her career, Carolyn has seen several significant changes in the field of dentistry. She shared that some of the dramatic changes that she’s seen include the impression material used to make crowns and changes with x-rays.
