Domino's Pizza Fundraising Solution Makes Big Impact on Local Community Programs

Domino's Pizza Program, Slice the Price, Raises Crucial Funds for Community Efforts

Domino’s Pizza partnered with Platinum Fundraising four years ago to create their Slice the Price fundraising program, a program that sells promotional Domino’s cards for fundraisers which ultimately benefits a plethora of great causes in many local communities. Since the partnership, Slice the Price has raised $554,000 benefiting various community programs and activities.

Slice the Price fundraising cards give teachers, coaches, veterans and others the tools they need to create momentum and make an impact. The fundraisers are able to sell the cards, priced at $10, which can be used for multiple purchases and promotions (i.e. buy one pizza get one for free, buy 10 pizzas get 10 for free) until it expires. The fundraisers run for a length of two weeks and participants keep 50 percent of the profits. Domino’s Pizza handles all of the logistical details and paperwork so that participants can focus on achieving their goals and making a difference in their communities.

The Slice the Price program operates purposefully and partners with individuals and organizations that are making a difference in their communities. The Slice the Price program is especially geared toward groups like cheer teams, dance teams, schools, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, teams, clubs, classes and others.

Brent Medders, an Arkansas Domino’s Pizza franchise owner of 29 stores, built his career from the ground-up, beginning as a pizza deliverer while a college student: now owning and operating dozens of locations. He has lived in Arkansas for more than 20 years and is passionate about developing community-centric Domino’s Pizza stores throughout Northwest Arkansas, the River Valley and Central Arkansas.

While providing delicious food is an important goal, Medders recently enacted an organizational priority of ensuring store visitors are treated respectfully and as friends and neighbors, rather than customers, first.

Medders, and the entire Domino’s Pizza team, is passionate about serving their communities and neighbors with delicious food, great customer service and local engagement.
