The first Influencer appeared in 1890 when R.T. Davis Milling company hired Nancy Green to be the face of their pancake mix called "Aunt Jemima." Nancy Green pioneered the role of an influencer and helped make Aunt Jemima pancake mix and syrup a staple of any kitchen even to this day.
